Connecting people through art 

An acknowledgment of impotence in front of the sudden manifestation of unexpected and catastrophic events. It speaks for the torment of individuals following a drama. The video is built from a photographic series with a software that interpolates images. The selected decoration is fixed, the actors evolve/move very slowly on stage and break up their movements in space. The glances, the placement, the attitudes of the actors are built around the drama.

The computer delivers the intermediate images between an image x and a x+1 to bind them with a view displacing the subjects in the sequence. With this technique, the bodies are subjected to the machine and become ‘figures’. The computer uses a certain type of artefact following mistakes in interpretation. The bodies are dislocated, generated with their environments of confusions. The situation is supernatural.
